In 1990, a medical graduate and former Industrial
Supervisor of the South America main branch of the known
pharmaceutical company
F. Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd, was
visiting the remote tribes of the Amazon River Basin in an
expedition. He noticed that in a particular region, women
developed larger hips and larger glutei (booty) before
getting pregnant and even before having a mate.
It was explained to him through the translation of the accompanying
FUNAI (Brazilian Indigenous Affairs Authority) guide that young
women were considered more suitable as future mothers if they had large
hips and firm sensibly large glutei, therefore most young women in some
tribes were making a decoction of some native flowers to obtain those
results. With curiosity and seeing the obvious efficient results, he
took some samples, preserved them in an airtight bag and once back in
the city of Manaus the samples were analyzed and a research project was
initiated.
The project showed that the active substance in the plant induced
such changes through mimic of some body signals to bio receptors. This
means that it was signaling the body to increase the production of some
type of tissues as if that was necessary to its survival. This is called
Adaptative Biological Response. It happens when chameleons change color
for surviving, when bears decrease metabolism for hibernating or when
our body increases the fat layers under the skin in cold
environments, for citing a few examples.
With the help of a biomedical graduate who was at the time working
for Kawasumi Laboratories from
Japan and visiting Sao Paulo University, they isolated the active
substance, purified it to a pharmaceutical level, added some carrier
ingredients and after a safety testing period, they created a company
for commercializing what was called Femimais, a set or combination
of pills for enhancing the glutei. It immediately called the attention
of showbiz personalities and became a "known secret" of the Brazilian
women. Working further on the process, it was found that the pills on
their own were a long although effective process and that the response
was different in different women with diverse lifestyles and diet. The
studies showed that the results could be accelerated and enhanced
greatly if some specific elements were added to the diet of the user and
if some specific workout was targeting the desired group of muscles.
It took six years of studies to arrive to the perfect combination and
to purify further the active substances. At that point, Femimore called
the attention of a Japanese biotechnologies group and the Femimais
program was acquired. After further testing and studies for complying
with Japanese pharmaceutical regulations, and with added studies by
specialists in Nutrition Medicine and Sports Medicine, a new improved
product emerged with the name and trademark Femimore. The
Integrated Reshape Program sold today under the trademark
Femimore is the only
scientifically researched and medically approved non surgical program
for enhancing the feminine shape of hips and glutei and it has earned
its place in the Aesthetic Medicine field
